A huge congratulations to Zulu and Ruby for taking Reserve Dog and Bitch challenge during Saturday's first show at Rockhampton.  Zulu was awarded Puppy of Breed then went on to win Puppy in Group.  At the second show Ruby won Bitch Challenge, Best of Breed, Puppy in Group and  Zulu won Dog Challenge, and also came first in Puppy sweepstakes!!!

A huge congratulations to Rocky and Pebble whom completed, with ease, a 20 km run, thus becoming Endurance Trial Champions!!!!!!!!!! So we are now going to have a few weeks off from competing.

Congratulations to Rocky for winning Dog Challenge and Runner up best of Breed.  Also to Aura for her Puppy of breed and Reserve Bitch Challenge, and to Zulu for his third place in the puppy sewwpstakes.

We are having a short break from showing, apart from the occassional show, to concentrate on training for Rocky and Pebble's endurance test on the 24th of August, which is a 20km run (we get to cycle it, phew!).  Hopefully, all will go well and they will both gain their Endurance Titles, fingers crossed!

In Brisbane at the Hound Club Show, under Canadian judges, well done to Aura for winning Minor of Breed against a huge line up.  A huge congratulations to Rocky's uncle Makani for winning RUBOB, thus obtaining his first points, and to all of Dale whom dominated the rest of the show with BOB, Reserve dog challenge and of course Reserve in Show/Junior in show.  Well done all.

Today at Durack Rocky won Intermediate of Breed and Dog Challenge.  Aura won Minor of Breed.  And a huge congratulations to Leslie and Zarah whom won Best of breed and Reserve in Group, YEA

Today at Durack Rocky won Intermediate of Breed and Reserve Dog challenge.  Aura won Minor of Breed, all in the freezing cold and pouring rain!!

At Redcliffe show today, Rocky won Intermediate of Breed, Dog Challenge and Runner Up of Breed.  Pebble won Open in Breed.  Aura won Minor in Breed then went on to win Minor of Group. WOW.

At The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of QLD,  Lure Coursing event today, (which is our first attempt at this sport),  Pebble won first place and Rocky second place for the 2-3 year old other breed class,  and remained first and second place over all for that age group.  Aura won first place for the 6-12 month other breed class and second overall for her age group!! So now we have added Staffy Ribbons to our ever growing collection. I never thought chasing a plastic bag could be so much fun.

Happy Birthday too me...... so no showing for us today.  But a huge congratulations to Zulu for earning his first 6 points by winning Dog Challenge and Minor of Breed. How proud that all our show ring pups have earned their first points at just over six months of age!!

In the Champ show, congratulations to Rocky for Sweepstakes, Dog Challenge and Best of Breed!!  Well done to Zulu for his Sweepstake win and Minor of Breed all at the champ show.  Congratulations later on to Rocky for Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed, to Pebble for Reserve Bitch Challenge and to Aura for Minor of Breed and Minor in Group in the Open Show!!  Excellent!

Well how proud are we!!! At the Rhodesian Ridgeback speciality show, Rocky started the day by winning first in Intermediate Dog, then went on to win Opposite Intermediate Dog in Show!!! Aura won Best Footed Dog in Show, and finally together Aura and Pebble won Best Brace Team in Show.  WOW what a day, I am so proud.  Zulu was also a star in the ring narrowly missing a place too, it was soo close. 

The Ridgie show goes on for the next few days but we are having a family weekend so have gone home for a relaxing well deserved break.  So a huge good luck and best wishes to all our friends and may you all be as fortunate over the coming days as we have been, Cheers and thank you for your support and help today.

It's still raining and we are at a new showground.  The ground is so boggy that everyone is showing in gum boots! Pebble won Bitch Challenge and Best of Breed, Aura won Reserve Bitch Challenge and Minor of Breed, Rocky won Dog Challenge, Runner Up Best of Breed, and Intermediate in Group and for Intermediate in Show, the judge only pulled Rocky and a fox terrier out, but the foxie pipped him to the post.  Zulu won reserve Dog Challenge and Puppy Sweepstakes, so all in all not a bad day considering we all went home soaked!

Its raining hard today and the ground is like a pond but the show must go on.  Aura won Puppy Sweepstakes and Minor of Breed.  Pebble was reserve Bitch Challenge and Rocky won Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed.

Well Team RockRidges is back in the ring today.  Rocky won Dog Challenge and Best of Breed, Aura won Bitch Challenge, thus gaining 7 points, her first points towards her title as well as 2nd in Puppy Sweepstakes. Pebble won Reserve Bitch Challenge and Open in Group and Zulu not only won Reserve Dog Challenge, Runner Up Best of Breed, and Minor in Group as well.  Well dong Gang!!!

Happy Birthday to my number one boy Rocky.  I can't believe he is 2 years old, gosh the time has really flown.  We are truly blessed to have such a perfect addition to our family and all love him dearly.  A big Cheers to my 'Baby Chew' and I hope you enjoy your birthday presents and of course no birthday is complete without a liver cake, Happy Birthday xxx

Our first show Pebble won Bitch Challenge, Best of Breed and Australia Bred in Group!! Rocky won Dog Challenge and Runner up Best of breed, while Aura won Baby Puppy of Breed!!!

Our second show won Dog Challenge and Best of Breed.  Pebble won Bitch Challenge and Runner up Best of Breed, and Aura won Baby Puppy of Breed.  WOW what a day!!

Today at the Sunshine Coast Show Rocky won reserve Challenge Dog, and Aura won Reserve Baby Puppy of Breed in a big line up in both the Open and Champ shows!!!!  A huge WOW to Marley, whom won Minor Puppy in Show.  She is shown, loved and adored, by me best mate Paula (Magicmine Staffs).

Aura, handled by my best mate Paula at Magicmine Staffs, won 1st Place in the Puppy Sweepstakes, her Baby Puppy of Breed, Baby Puppy in Group, and Baby Puppy in SHOW!!!!!!!!!  Wow what a Happy Easter!

Today Rocky won Dog Challenge and was Runner up Best of Breed.  Zulu, Aura's Brother, won his 2nd place in the sweepstakes, his  Class in Breed and Baby Puppy in Group!!

Congratulations to Rocky whom was Best of Breed yesterday and to Pebble for Reserve Bitch Challenge. Aura also behaved very well, stacked like a dream, and we nearly managed to gait the whole way round the ring before she decided this gaiting business is boring so lets jump up and down and go crazy.  She enjoyed herself which is what counts.

Well done to Rocky whom won Dog challenge, Best of Breed and Intermediate in Group.  It was also Aura and her brother Zulu's showing debute, and once over the stage fright they both enjoyed themselves.

Rocky back in the ring after a good four months absent, won two Best of Breeds this weekend at Bundaberg, Pebble was reserve challenge bitch twice go girl.  

We say farewell to our pups this week as they leave us for their wonderful new homes, and we can't wait to receive pictures of them as they grow.  Aura, Rockridges Malolo Lailai, will be staying on here with us to be show along side her Mum and Dad.  She started puppy pre-school this week which she thoroughly enjoyed.
